What's New for the 2027 Model Year
This year, updates to the new Land Cruiser are minor, but they are meaningful changes. There’s now a raised air intake available as an option, and it enhances the vehicle's water-fording capability for serious off-road adventures. The Premium package has also been upgraded. It now includes heated and ventilated rear seats for enhanced passenger comfort.
Available Features of the New Land Cruiser
The 2027 Toyota Land Cruiser features a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder hybrid powertrain. This engine produces 326 horsepower and 465 pounds of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard, as is full-time four-wheel-drive. When properly equipped, the Land Cruiser can also tow upwards of 6,000 pounds.
Inside, the 2027 Land Cruiser offers a standard eight-inch touchscreen or an optional 12.3-inch monitor on higher trims. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, as does a wireless charging pad. Other features include a 14-speaker JBL premium audio system and multiple USB-A and USB-C ports.
Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 comes standard on the 2027 Land Cruiser to keep you safe. Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection can detect and react to hazards. Automatic emergency braking activates when collisions appear imminent. While Dynamic Radar Cruise Control maintains set following distances from vehicles ahead. There’s even Road Sign Assist, which recognizes and displays speed limits on the instrument panel.
