After a 14-year second generation, Toyota's largest SUV finally received a complete redesign for the 2023 model year. The refresh also brings the full-hybrid, full-size 2023 Toyota Sequoia to a new home, planting roots in San Antonio at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas, where Toyota announced a $391 million investment in 2019.

2023 Toyota Sequoia Highlights
The 2023 Sequoia gets its internal motivation from a prodigious i-FORCE MAX powertrain. The twin-turbo V-6 hybrid sends 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels through a responsive 10-speed automatic transmission—enough power to tow up to 9,000 pounds when properly equipped. Or you can select four-wheel drive as an option for any trim (standard on TRD Pro models) for improved handling and control in all conditions.
The Sequoia is rugged yet refined, evoking the impressive presence of its namesake with a muscular stance and bold front fascia with a prominent grille and dynamic front lighting elements. On the inside, the Sequoia's cabin complements its head-turning exterior style with generous passenger space for eight (seven with second-row captain's chairs), sophisticated and modern design details, and high-quality materials. Available feature highlights include heated and ventilated front and second-row seats, premium leather upholstery, and a large panoramic moonroof.
The 2023 Sequoia is also richly equipped with tech deserving of the SUV's flagship status, including a standard 12.3-inch high-res, fully digital instrument panel. All trims but the base model (8-inch display) have a large 14-inch touchscreen with cable-free smartphone integration via wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
