Crafted by the detail-obsessed GAZOO Racing team, the all-new GR Corolla packs a punch with its direct/port-injected turbo-three making 300 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 273 pound-feet of torque between 3,000–5,500 rpm. Hands-on driving enthusiasts will be delighted to learn that Toyota will offer the GR Corolla exclusively with a six-speed manual.
A GR-FOUR all-wheel-drive system, Toyota's first sports AWD in over 20 years, delivers exceptional sure-footed traction, while MacPherson-type strut front suspension and double-wishbone multilink rear suspension enable maximum agility and stability. The available Performance package ratchets up cornering and handling performance, with front and rear Torsen Limited-Slip Differentials and red-painted 4-piston front and 2-piston rear aluminum fixed-caliper disc brakes.
