Toyota has set an ambitious goal of fielding a roster of around 70 electrified models in its global portfolio by 2025. The automaker's impressive, electrified lineup is already well on its way, with popular nameplates like the Tundra i-FORCE MAX, plug-in hybrid "Prime" models, and the all-new bZ4X electric crossover. This past weekend, Toyota exhibited its current lineup of battery-powered and battery-assisted models at the 2022 Electrify Expo stop in Long Beach, California, June 3-5. Here's a quick look at what Toyota had on display.

  • bZ4X: The first of seven global models in Toyota's "Beyond Zero" (bZ) lineup, the all-new bZ4X is a fully electric compact crossover available in a front-wheel or all-wheel-drive layout with an EPA-estimated range of up to 252 miles per charge. The bZ4X also comes loaded with cutting-edge standard features, including the latest Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite of driver-assistance technologies and a 12.3-inch widescreen Toyota Audio Multimedia system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

  • Tundra i-FORCE MAX: Powered by a prodigious, battery-assisted twin-turbo V6 engine, the powerful hybrid pickup produces 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque while achieving an EPA-estimated 22 mpg.

  • Prius Prime: The plug-in variant of Toyota's iconic, long-running hybrid hatchback boasts an EPA-estimated 54 mpg, with 25 miles of electric-only range.

  • RAV4 Prime: Toyota's quickest model, beyond only the V6 GR Supra, the RAV4 Prime equips a powerful 302-horsepower hybrid powertrain and can travel an impressive EPA-estimate 42 miles on battery alone.

  • Mirai: Japanese for "future," the Mirai is a hydrogen-powered vehicle that emits only water vapor from its tailpipe. The second-gen rear-wheel luxury-sport sedan boasts an EPA-estimated driving range of 402 miles, a nearly 30% increase over its predecessor.
