The Toyota Highlander is one of the most popular midsize three-row SUVs. But it’s been said the third row is cramped for adults, and the cargo area isn’t that spacious. Toyota heard this criticism and decided to do something about it. Introducing the Toyota Grand Highlander.

The Grand Highlander expands on the Highlander design by increasing the cabin space, cargo area, and performance. For more information, keep reading, or shop at Atlanta Toyota today.

Highlights of the Toyota Grand Highlander

The new Grand Highlander has three powertrain options. The base model uses a turbocharged 265-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder with front- or all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. There’s a hybrid powertrain that has a 2.5-liter 243 horsepower four-cylinder and two electric motors. And there’s the Hybrid Max powertrain, which uses a turbocharged 362 horsepower 2.4-liter paired with an electric motor.

All models have a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a seven-inch digital display gauge. A wireless smartphone charging pad also comes standard, as does a six-speaker stereo. Though an 11-speaker JBL stereo is offered on the Limited and Platinum models.

Accompanying the various tech on the Grand Highlander is a suite of advanced driver-aids. Standard features include blind-spot monitoring and automated emergency braking. Higher trims feature adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, and a road-sign recognition system.
